About Waco - ZQC-6
This Aircraft was sold from the factory to the original owner in Los Angeles in 1936. During WW2, it was fitted with long range antennas & was used for coastal patrol in the Seattle, WA area. The aircraft was placed in storage in the Paso Robles area in 1951 & was acquired by Charles Wentworth in 1992. Restoration commenced between 2018 & 2021 by Antique Aero of Paso Robles. The paint scheme & details are as it left the factory in 1936. Eight ZQG6 airplanes were built as freighters with a large rear cargo door & enlarged cargo area. This is the only flying example in the freighter configuration.
