For sale is a 2022 Rotax 912iS Sport Engine, previously installed on a Sling LSA used for flight training. The engine has approximately 1990 hours TT (ECU reading) and comes with:


Gearbox (600‑hour inspection due)


ECU


Fuse box


Oil tank


Wiring harness


Complete engine maintenance logbook




The engine was inspected every 100 hours, completed one annual inspection, and was removed in December 2023 for a TBO engine swap. It ran primarily on 100LL with Decalin, with oil changes every 50 hours. Compression readings: Cyl.1 80/80, Cyl.2 80/80, Cyl.3 79/80, Cyl.4 80/80.


Notes:


Gearbox female bolt holes have Heli-coil inserts per Lockwood recommendation, properly torqued by Rotax iRMT.


Regulator B connector is the old style with burnt cable terminals; upgrade possible with SB kit
